Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of cutnik.com and your engagement of Cutnik’s wedding video editing services. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a studio or company, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

1. Who we are

Cutnik (Cutnik) is a wedding video post-production studio led by Kevin Patel, based in India, providing editing services to videographers, studios, and filmmakers (“you”, “the client”).

Our services are B2B and white-label. We do not contract with couples or end consumers.

2. Quotes and project scope

Every project is defined by a written quote or brief confirmation stating the deliverable, scope, footage assumptions, revisions, timeline, and price.
A project begins only when the scope is agreed and the deposit is received. See our Payment Terms.
Work beyond the agreed scope, including extra runtime, additional events, added deliverables, or rush requests, will be quoted separately.

3. Turnaround

Stated turnaround times, for example a 4–5 business-day highlight first cut, are measured from the point we have your complete footage, brief, and deposit.

Turnaround times also assume the agreed scope and our confirmed capacity. Timelines may reasonably change if footage is incomplete, files are corrupted, or client feedback is delayed.

4. Your responsibilities and warranties

You confirm that:

You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to the footage and materials you send us.
You have obtained any required consents from the individuals filmed and from your own clients.
You hold the necessary music licences for any tracks you ask us to use. A personal or platform licence usually cannot be transferred to us, and music licensing remains your responsibility.
The materials you provide do not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws.

You agree to keep your own backup of all footage. Cutnik is not a backup or archival service.

5. Revisions

Each project includes the number of consolidated revision rounds stated in your quote, typically 2–3 rounds.

Revisions must remain within the original agreed scope and should be provided as one consolidated set of feedback per round.

Additional revision rounds or changes outside the original scope will be quoted separately.

6. Intellectual property and ownership

On full payment, you own the final edited deliverables and the organised Adobe Premiere Pro project file we provide, allowing you to use the work under your own brand.
Third-party assets, including music, stock footage, plug-ins, LUTs, and similar materials, remain subject to their respective licences. You are responsible for ensuring appropriate licensing where required.
Cutnik is a white-label service. We do not watermark your films and will not publicly display, publish, or reuse your footage or finished work without your written permission. See our Confidentiality Policy.

7. Delivery

We deliver final files through Google Drive or another delivery method agreed for your project.

Files will be supplied in the format and specifications stated in your quote or project agreement.

8. Website use

You may not misuse our website, attempt to disrupt or interfere with its operation, or copy and reuse its content without permission.

Portfolio films displayed on cutnik.com belong to Cutnik and/or its clients and may not be copied, downloaded, republished, or reused without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutnik’s total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid for that specific project.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of footage that you did not independently back up.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep each other’s confidential information private.

Our commitments relating to your footage, project files, and client work are explained further in our Confidentiality Policy.

An NDA is also available on request.

11. Termination

Either party may end a project by providing written notice.

Fees for work already completed and any non-refundable deposit remain payable in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Force majeure

Cutnik is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet or power outages, natural events, technical failures, or third-party service disruptions.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat, India.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The effective date shown at the top of this page indicates the current version. Continued use of our website or services after updated Terms are published means that you accept the revised Terms.
